Prospective Team Managers

Thank you for your interest in joining the Boston Metro Baseball League (BMBL). We are always looking to grow the league and add more teams across all four of our divisions, including the 18+ Division, 28+ Boston Division, 28+ MetroWest Division, and 38+ Masters Division.

Looking to start a new team?

For your team to be considered, please review some of the factors that go into our decision making process below.

Do you have field permits for your home games?

Typically, we ask new managers to obtain field permits for their home games at a baseball field in or around the Boston area — a total of 13 weeknight and weekend games, in addition to playoffs. Teams without access to a field may still apply, but will receive lesser priority.

How many committed players do you have?

New teams with a committed player base will receive greater consideration, however, our Player Pool may help you fill any holes in your roster. The Player Pool contains a list of ballplayers who are interested in joining a team and have registered on our website. This list is made available to all of the team managers.

Are you prepared to put down a deposit?

Teams that are serious about joining the BMBL should be prepared to lock in their slot with a $500 deposit.

If you are interested in bringing on a new team, please fill out our contact form or send a message to our Facebook page to chat with a league administrator.
