EMass Sports Media Coverage
Founded by Whitney Dowds, EMass Sports is the media partner for the Boston Metro Baseball League, providing video, team and player profiles, league content, and game photography.
Since June 2021, Whitney has been creating stories about amateur baseball leagues throughout Boston. This idea stemmed from his need to find a focus for his graduate school portfolio website, as well as his passion for baseball, which he has held since he was nine years old. Whitney's love for watching and commentating on baseball has only grown since he watched Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS.
Fast forward to 2023, Whitney, a graduate of Franklin Pierce University (2016) and Full Sail University (2022) with degrees in journalism, hopes to continue documenting unique sports stories in both amateur and professional baseball. His coverage will include game recaps, playoff series, tournaments, and player profiles. Whitney is also available upon request for league, team, and player features.
