The 21st annual Winterball charity baseball game is scheduled for 11:00 AM this Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at Maplewood Park in Malden — players should arrive by 10:00 AM for batting practice.

The Winterball event benefits the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Program. The primary goal of "Toys for Tots" is, through the gift of a new toy, to help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children.

In order to participate in the Winterball event, players must donate at least one unwrapped toy. The U.S. Marines will brave the conditions to collect the toys and make sure they are donated to children in need this Christmas.
