2016 BMBL Metrowest Champions - Sudbury Royals

For the second straight year, the Sudbury Royals and the defending champion Hudson Mets faced off in the BMBL Metrowest Championship series. This time however, the Sudbury Royals would seek revenge and come out on top, sweeping the Hudson Mets in the best of three series to take home the BMBL Metrowest title.

Sudbury's pitching was a big factor in their championship run as Chris Dion and Jon Shepard led their staff with a combined 5-0 record and a remarkable 0.33 ERA, allowing just one earned run to go along with their combined 47 K's. On offense, Sudbury finished with a .356 BA in the postseason with six different players batting over .400.

Congratulations to the Sudbury Royals on your 2016 BMBL Metrowest Championship title!
